International Braille Chess Association (IBCA) is the apex body of chess for the blind and is affiliated to FIDE (Federation Internationale Des Echecs – the world body of chess for sighted).

1) XII. Individual world championship for blind and visually impaired
XII. Individual world championship for blind and visually impaired chess players will be held in Belgrad (Serbia) 25-8-2010 (arrival) - 5-9-2010 (departure). Every blind and visually impaired chess player is welcome to participate. The nation of the player must be a full member of IBCA and must have payed the membership fee before the games start.

This tournament for blind and visually impaired chess players from the IBCA member countries will be held in Poland from 25-9-2010 (arrival) - 02-10-2010 (departure).
